StoneTurn, a global advisory firm that assists companies, their counsel and government agencies on regulatory, risk and compliance issues, investigations and business disputes, announced the opening of a new office in Texas with the addition of Jeffrey Matthews as a partner in Dallas. A well-recognized financial expert, certified fraud examiner, certified public accountant and FINRA arbitrator, Matthews brings more than 20 years of experience in financial investigations, forensic accounting and litigation support. He serves as an expert in corruption and white-collar criminal cases, as well as multijurisdictional business disputes, and testifies in multiple civil and criminal matters at the state and federal levels. He joins Texas-based StoneTurn colleagues in Austin and Houston. Prior to joining StoneTurn, Matthews led the Forensic and Litigation practice of a Texas-based, nationally-oriented accounting firm. 

New Partner in Dallas

Fox Rothschild welcomed Kathleen R. Barrow as a partner in the Employee Benefits and Compensation Department in Dallas. With nearly three decades of experience, Barrow works on behalf of national employers across a range of industries, as well as nonprofit organizations, health care providers and school districts, to correct tax and fiduciary issues with payroll, executive compensation and employee benefits. She offers strategic assistance with ERISA matters, compliance programs and corrections of documentation and operational errors. Prior to joining Fox, Barrow was a partner at Constangy, Brooks, Smith & Prophete. She earned her J.D. from the University of Oklahoma, her M.B.A. from Oklahoma City University, and her B.S. from Nazareth College.
