Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe expanded its commercial litigation lineup in Houston by hiring Christina Maccio, a former DLA Piper partner who represents energy clients from Latin America and Europe.

Maccio, who started work at Orrick on Thursday, said the firm provides a network of offices to support her practice and her mix of clients, and has an important focus on energy and infrastructure, finance and technology.

Fluent in Spanish, Maccio said she often represents clients from Latin America in U.S. courts and international arbitration proceedings. Some years, those matters comprise up to 70% of her work, she said.
