A Florida real estate broker seeks more than $2 million from personal injury lawyers Brent Coon of Beaumont and Darren Miller of Houston, alleging they mishandled his Deepwater Horizon explosion suit, and improperly asked him to pay some expenses upfront to keep his claims alive.

“This is what happens when mass tort litigation goes massively wrong,” Mark Canfora and his company, Mark Canfora Investments, allege in a petition filed in state district court in Harris County on Thursday.
