Running for election for the first time since he was appointed to the Texas Supreme Court in February 2019, Justice Brett Busby faces two challengers.
Busby, the Republican candidate, will face off in November against Democratic candidate Justice Gisela Triana of Austin’s Third Court of Appeals, and Beaumont attorney Tom Oxford, the Libertarian candidate.
