With Texas lawyers likely to decide early next year whether to allow firms to use trade names, LawHQ, a firm that forced the issue in Texas, will launch its Lone Star State operations next week.

Rebecca Evans, the general counsel of the Utah-based LawHQ, said the firm will hire Texas lawyers over the next week to represent clients in Texas. The virtual firm represents consumers seeking damages from spam robocalls.
