A Houston lawyer was hit with a legal-malpractice lawsuit by a client who alleged he lost a case by failing to respond to the defendant’s motions for summary judgment—not once, but twice.

Solo practitioner Adam Allen, who didn’t immediately respond to a call or email seeking comment, was sued for negligence in a case that seeks $2 million and recovery of the fees and expenses that MB Main paid for the representation in an underlying case.
