Four Houston attorneys, including one from Big Law, are defending a push from a litigant in their case who wants them to pay $108,000 in sanctions for an alleged delay tactic in the case.

Houston solo practitioner Dale Tingleaf, Mike Essmyer Sr. of The Essmyer Law Firm, Tiffany Harrod of Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr and Dinesh Singhal of The Singhal Law Firm signed a motion to dismiss under the Texas Citizens Participation Act, a law that allows quick dismissal of Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation.
