Beck Redden partner Michael Richardson of Houston, and another lawyer and staff member at the firm, are experiencing mild symptoms from COVID-19 infections they picked up at a federal jury trial this week, according to a court transcript.

Richardson and the other Beck Redden attorney represented the defendants in an in-person jury trial that’s been paused for two weeks because at least seven people—including two jurors—tested positive for the virus. During a telephone hearing Friday, more details emerged about who got sick and how they were doing in the first few days of their illnesses.
