Predicting anything is treacherous, but especially now. I wish Texas family lawyers could, after a very bumpy year in 2020, congratulate ourselves that we will soon be looking at a much easier year in 2021. But I don't think we can draw a line under the effects of COVID-19 and close the book quite yet. It is true that we have managed to help our clients, and the public at large, navigate a landscape full of ruts and pits as we tried to figure out what to do about divorced or separated parents sharing custody who were confronting unprecedented grounds for dispute.
