A Leander attorney who was convicted of solicitation of a minor has resigned his law license, rather than face an attorney discipline case.

Kyle Gregory Layman was one of four attorneys from whom the Texas Supreme Court recently accepted a resignation in lieu of discipline. Court documents in Layman’s resignation case show he pleaded guilty on Oct. 19 in McLennan County’s 19th District Court to third-degree felony criminal solicitation of a minor.
