Dallas Partner Appointed to Board of Performing Arts Center

Danny Tobey, a partner in DLA Piper's litigation practice in Dallas, has been appointed chair of the board of directors for the AT&T Performing Arts Center.

The AT&T Performing Arts Center is a nonprofit foundation that operates and programs a 10-acre campus comprising three premier performance venues, two multi-form theaters and a park in downtown Dallas. The center seeks "to provide a public gathering place that strengthens community and fosters creativity through the presentation of performing arts and arts education programs," according to a statement.

In his new role, Tobey will serve a two-year term and work collaboratively with the staff and board to keep the center and the arts in Dallas moving forward. Tobey has also served on the board of several nonprofit organizations, including the Parkland Foundation, SPCA of Texas and the regional Anti-Defamation League. He has served on the center's board since 2016.
