Civil and appellate attorneys need to keep close eyes on some of the 950 bills that Texas lawmakers have already pre-filed for the 2021 legislative session.

Some of the must-watch bills so far would tweak medical-malpractice evidence, change how insurers pay uninsured motorist claims, redraw the boundaries of Texas courts of appeals districts and more, said Jerry Bullard, who has tracked Lone Star State legislative proposals since 2004.
