Houston litigation boutique Gibbs & Bruns has selected two mid-career partners to serve as co-managing partners as of Jan 1, 2021, a move that fits two trends in firm management — a  managing partner job share, and elevating younger partners into key leadership roles.

The co-managing partners, Ashley Kleber and Michael Absmeier, succeed nine-year managing partner Scott Humphries, who will retire at the end of the year but will remain of counsel to wrap up some lawsuits.
