When Jenna Johnson earned the top score on the September 2020 Texas Bar Examination, it was not only an accomplishment for the former television news production assistant, but a boost for Texas A&M University School of Law in placing graduates at large Texas firms.

In the seven years since Texas A&M University bought the law school from Texas Wesleyan University, the bar exam pass rate has improved and the school has progressed up a noted national ranking of law schools, prompting Texas firms to do more recruiting at the law school located in Fort Worth.
