The Texas Supreme Court on Friday rejected appeals by Infowars and Alex Jones, leaving them to face four lawsuits for reporting that a Connecticut elementary school shooting was a hoax and for publishing the wrong man’s photo as the mass shooter at a Florida high school.

The high court’s denial of review means that lower rulings will remain in place that rejected Jones’ and Infowars’ contention that the Texas anti-SLAPP law should allow the quick dismissal of three lawsuits by four parents whose children died in the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. They sued after Jones and Infowars reported the dead children and mourning parents were actors.
