A water-cooler company sued for breach of contract alleged its defense lawyer could have prevented most of the jury verdict it lost by terminating the underlying contract before trial.

Also alleging that Houston attorney David R. Brewer agreed to the underlying plaintiff admitting trial exhibits that he had not reviewed, Pura Flo is suing for negligence in a new legal malpractice lawsuit, Pura Flo v. Brewer, filed in Harris County district court.
