The Dallas Bar Association, a 148-year-old professional, voluntary organization of more than 11,000 lawyers in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, inaugurated its 112th president in January 2021. Leading the association in 2021 is Aaron Z. Tobin, a trial attorney and name partner at Condon Tobin Sladek Thornton Nerenberg in Dallas.

Tobin joined the Board of Directors in 2012 and was elected chair of the Board of Directors in 2017. He has served as chair of numerous DBA committees, including the Finance Committee, Morris Harrell Professionalism Committee, Public Forum Committee, and Bench Bar Committee. He served as co-chair of the 2012-2013 Campaign for Equal Access to Justice, for which a record amount of money for low-income families and individuals was raised. The campaign funds the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program to provide free legal assistance to over 4,000 low-income families with civil legal needs each year.
