The New York Attorney General’s Office and lawyers representing the National Rifle Association’s former advertising agency Ackerman McQueen on Monday urged a Texas bankruptcy judge to dismiss the gun-rights advocacy group’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy petition.

The NRA filed for bankruptcy protection in January, announcing it planned to decamp from New York, where it has been chartered as a nonprofit, and reincorporate in Texas.
