Lateral hiring continues at a rapid pace at big firms in Texas, with Baker Botts hiring the chair of Paul Hastings' Houston corporate department, and Norton Rose Fulbright adding two regulatory investigations partners who were former assistant U.S. attorneys.
Doug Getten joined Am Law 100 firm Baker Botts last week as a capital markets partner in the corporate department in Houston. In addition to heading the Houston corporate department for Paul Hastings, he had been chair of talent acquisition for the Houston office and a partner in the securities and capital markets and M&A practices.
