As part of its commitment to improving racial justice, trial firm Susman Godfrey has selected 12 law students of color as inaugural recipients of the Susman Godfrey Prize, a program aimed to enhance the pipeline of diverse attorneys interested in civil trial litigation.

“It stemmed out of some discussions we had had as a firm when we announced our various racial justice initiatives last summer. We really wanted to do something that had meaningful impact, especially for our practice in civil litigation,” said co-managing partner Kalpana Srinivasan.
