In a shift to next-generation management at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, partners Krista Hanvey and John T. "Trey" Cox III are the new co-partners in charge of the Dallas office, succeeding longtime head Robert Walters.

The change in Dallas is part of new chair Barbara Becker's plan of switching up office and practice group leadership across the firm, putting younger and more diverse lawyers into the management roles. Moving younger lawyers into leadership roles is a trend across the industry.
