With a Supreme Court of Texas order, Texas firms are now permitted to use a trade name, as long as it’s not false or misleading.

On May 25, the Texas Supreme Court signed an order approving and adopting amendments to the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct and the Texas Rules of Disciplinary Procedure, including a rule that allows for trade names.
