As Thompson & Knight nears a merger with Holland & Knight, the Dallas-based firm is continuing to lose more partners to Big Law competitors in Texas — Demetra Liggins to McGuireWoods and Stephen Grant to Haynes and Boone, both in Houston.
Liggins joined McGuireWoods' restructuring and insolvency department as a partner Thursday, while Grant joined Haynes and Boone on June 21 as a partner in the capital markets and securities practice group.
