Winstead Solidifies IP Trial Practice With Addition of Thompson & Knight Trio
According to new shareholder Phil Philbin, the firm's upcoming merger with Holland & Knight "certainly had an impact" on the timing of their departure.

Phillip Philbin, Jamie McDole and Michael Karson joined the Am Law 200 firm as shareholders in the firm's Dallas office Friday. The announcement comes just weeks before Thompson & Knight is set to merge with Florida-based Am Law 100 firm Holland & Knight, which is expected to be completed around Aug. 1.
