Elizabeth “Liz” Klingensmith and Anthony “Tony” Guerino, energy litigators who worked together at Womble Bond Dickinson in Houston for the last two years, have moved to Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman as partners in Houston as they sought a firm to expand their domestic and international oil and gas practice.

Pillsbury is a global firm with a deep bench in litigation and arbitration on both coasts, Guerino said, along with strong branding and name recognition. He also said the firm’s reputation for an aggressive litigation team provides opportunities for bet-the-company litigation.
