A 374-page report of the results of an internal investigation into complaints against Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton appears to exonerate the embattled top lawyer, who faces allegations of corruption amid a move from high-profile critics who want him disbarred.

It follows a criminal complaint against Paxton by former political appointees Jeff Mateer, Ryan Bangert, Lacey Mase, Ryan Vassar, Mark Penley, Blake Brickman and Darren McCarty, who accused the attorney general of bribery and other violations.
