Latham & Watkins will open an office in Austin in the near future as it hires laterals from DLA Piper and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in the Texas capital.

Austin continues its streak as the hottest legal market in Texas this year, with Los Angeles-founded Latham & Watkins soon to launch an office in the booming Texas capital city, joining a number of other out-of-state firms with newly minted offices in Austin.
