The overall pass rate for the July 2021 Texas Bar Exam was 68.3%, a significant improvement when compared with a 61.6% overall pass rate for the February 2021 exam, and a 43.1% pass rate for a special exam given this March.

The July exam was given in person, while the February and March exams were online. The test-takers in March were to take the February exam, but were unable to do so in the wake of Winter Storm Uri and widespread power outages. The February exam was scheduled to take place just days after the storm.
