A jury in Houston returned a $352 million verdict Monday for a ramp service agent hit by a van while on the job at George Bush Intercontinental Airport.

“If you knew the injuries, you’d wonder why it wasn’t more,” said winning lawyer Randy Sorrels of Sorrels Law in Houston. “This was not a runaway jury.” He told Law.com the jury deliberated all day Friday and half of Monday to end the two-week trial before 127th Judicial District Court Judge Ravi Sandill.
