Following last month’s fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the New Mexico set of the movie Rust, questions still remain, one of the most pressing being if the film’s producer, Alec Baldwin, will be charged. Texas Lawyer spoke recently with personal injury lawyer Michael L. Mandell, founder of Mandell Law in Los Angeles, Calif. about the legal fallout from the incident, including the fate of Baldwin and worker safety issues on the sets of future film productions.
