Jim Adler, the Texas plaintiffs lawyer known as “The Texas Hammer,” has sued a Texas competitor for continuing to confuse consumers by purchasing Adler’s trademarks as keywords for ads on Google, despite agreeing not to do so in a 2020 settlement with Adler.

Adler and Jim S. Adler PC seek more than $1 million in damages from Adam Ramji and Ramji Law Group of Houston in the breach of contract suit. Adler alleges Ramji and his firm have been violating an agreement that settled an infringement suit Adler filed in 2019 in federal court in the Northern District of Texas.
