Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith is seeking an appeal after a Montgomery County judge denied its motion to dismiss a legal malpractice suit related to an April trial, in which the firm’s clients were hit with a $32 million adverse verdict.

In the legal malpractice suit, filed in Texas’ 457th District Court in July, businessman Garrett Gagliano seeks more than $1 million from Lewis Brisbois and partners Houston partners William Helfand and W. Earl Touchstone.
