Expanding its newly established Texas team, O’Melveny & Myers has added King & Spalding energy and infrastructure partner Monica Hwang as a partner based in Dallas and Austin.

Hwang, who comes from King & Spalding’s Houston office, joined O’Melveny’s project development and real estate practice group and its energy industry group on Tuesday in another Big Law move in Texas, where the hiring market is heated by the number of out-of-state firms launching Texas offices this year.
