Oral arguments at the Seventh Circuit will be conducted telephonically or by video through the month of January in response to the spike in COVID-19 cases, according to an order posted to the court’s website.

In the order published Wednesday, the court said counsel will argue by phone or video through Jan. 31. Proceedings resume in the Chicago-based court on Jan. 5 and audio will continue to be livestreamed on YouTube.
