On Jan. 4, the Elizabeth Holmes jury delivered its verdict in a U.S. district court in San Jose, California. San Jose’s District Court is a federal trial court in the Northern District of California.

A day later, the same court announced it will postpone all jury trials for the next three weeks as COVID-19 infections rage through the district. The court follows the decision of the Central District of California, which suspended jury trials on Jan. 3.
