With litigation ramping up and demand soaring in M&A, capital markets and finance, Vinson & Elkins posted strong results for 2021, with revenue up 16.6% and profits improving by 18.7% when compared with 2020.

“We were excited to see that top-line revenue growth and the profitability growth led by M&A, capital markets, finance and trials,” said Keith Fullenweider, a partner in Houston who became the firm’s chair Jan. 1.
