The 371st District Court in Tarrant County, a vacated seat, has drawn two conservative prosecutors into the Republican primary—Ryan Hill and William Knight. There is no Democrat in the race.

Hill, a Tarrant County chief prosecutor, describes himself as a fighter who takes dangerous criminals off the streets to make communities a safer place to live and work. Hill considers himself a constitutional conservative, and is a member of the Federalist Society.
