Counsel for a former Houston female firefighter overcame a misinterpretation of sexual harassment in the trial court and won a reversal from the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.

The cases involved a nude video the firefighter made exclusively for her husband. However, her superiors obtained the video from her unattended laptop in 2008 and circulated it among fellow fighters. This went on without her knowledge for nine years.
