The Dallas office of Burns Charest was able to secure a $41 million verdict for a Colorado energy firm that lost rights to a Costa Rican concession through the actions of a third party.
A jury in the Second Judicial District, Denver County, Colorado, returned a jury verdict awarding GT Resources $33 million in damages against Black Hills Corp. of South Dakota and $8 million against a Black Hills subsidiary, Black Hills Gas Resources.
