A Houston law firm, taking up the cause of the Texas Menstrual Equity Coalition, is filing an administrative appeal to the state comptroller’s denial of a policy change for feminine hygiene products.

Baker Botts partner Meghan D. McElvy is representing Sahar Punjwani, a Harris County resident and member of the coalition, which advocates for equity in menstrual products.
