A Harris County district court judge facing a May 24 runoff election has received a public admonition from the State Commission on Judicial Conduct for his behavior in a 2019 divorce proceeding over which he presided.
And his opponent in the election was involved in the April 2019 incident that led to his ethics case, because she was the lawyer representing the wife in that dispute.
