Even with a real estate team that comprises more than half of the firm, Winstead continues to hire real estate lawyers, including four who joined within the last month, as demand is outstripping its resources.

“We found ourselves at the end of 2021 having to turn away business, which you never want to do,” said Andrew Dow, a shareholder in Dallas who is chair of the real estate industry group. â€We’ve tried to lure some really good attorneys, knowing that we were leaving work on the table that we couldn’t do.”
