Attorneys who make use of information acquired through means subject to federal wiretapping law, during the discharge of their professional duties, might not have immunity, the Texas Supreme Court ruled.
The high court granted a petition for review from a family law attorney, Terisa Taylor, to refine the boundaries of the attorney-immunity defense.
