The traditional nuclear family, with the husband as the breadwinner and the wife as the homemaker, is a stereotype that's seen in television sitcoms from the 1950s. Today, that dichotomy has been replaced by a partnership, where households have two working parents, each contributing to the family income and each sharing in parenting. In this article, we share our experiences as parents in our respective families, while also continuing our associate careers at Chamberlain Hrdlicka.
