A Chapter 7 trustee in Houston filed a complaint on Friday alleging that the parent company of debtor QSI, an oil field services company in Houston, paid for legal services from Baker Botts with money from the debtor when it was struggling financially.

BankruptcyA bankruptcy trustee in Houston has sued Baker Botts, Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison and Nielsen IP Law, seeking to recover more than $3.6 million in "fraudulent and preferential transfers" that Houston debtor QAI paid for legal services for the debtor's owner before QAI's Chapter 7 filing.
