The appellate counsel for a Roman Catholic priest, who was removed from his post for alleged theft of Port Aransas parish funds, convinced an appellate court to remand a civil case for a jury trial on attorney fees.

The Thirteenth District Court of Appeals found in favor of Father Krzysztof Tomasz Bauta on the issue of attorney fees, however, the court affirmed the trial court’s ruling that granted the Diocese of Corpus Christi’s motion to dismiss.
