A Tarrant County district court judge, accused of bias in a sex assault case, refused a request for her recusal on grounds she allegedly has personal knowledge of why an improper verdict form was given to the jury.

Counsel for plaintiff Kimberly Goesling did not point to the improper verdict form as grounds for recusal, but to an unusual copy of the completed verdict form that was later filed by the judge that did not match the original.
