A senior judge assigned to preside over a motion to recuse the trial judge in a lawsuit against American Airlines allowed the original jurist to remain on the case.

Kimberly Goesling, a now-retired flight attendant alleged the airline retaliated against her when she reported a sexual assault, and allegedly shared liability because it failed to properly screen the alleged assailant, a celebrity chef in the employ of the airline.
