The families of children killed, and those injured, in the May 24 school shooting in Uvalde, Texas, have to date contacted numerous attorneys to seek some modicum of justice, but no clear strategy has yet materialized.

One of the first attorneys to receive calls was not a member of the State Bar of Texas, rather it was Josh Koskoff. The Bridgeport, Connecticut-based lawyer secured a $73 million settlement with Remington Arms on behalf of five children and four adults killed in the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting that left 28 dead.
