Houston plaintiffs lawyer Steven Kherkher has dismissed a lawsuit he filed against his former firm, now known as Williams Hart Boundas Easterby, and two of its partners, after a judge confirmed an arbitration award resolving a dispute over the value of Kherkher's capital account.
That final arbitration award set the value of Kherkher's capital account at $8,466,879 as of Dec. 31, 2018, and taking into account money the firm already paid to Kherkher, the firm will pay the former partner a total of $2,997,577 in 12 payments ending on Feb. 1, 2023.
